Bishkek, Dec. 4, 2025. /Kabar/. As part of the official visit of President Sadyr Zhaparov to Pakistan, the Kyrgyz delegation got acquainted with the work of industrial and technological facilities in Islamabad, the National Investment Agency of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to the information, a visit to the main production and research institutions of Pakistan was organized. The delegation visited the Pakistan Hydrocarbon Development Institute, the Pharmaceutical Company Bio-Labs (Pvt) Ltd, and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Pakistan.
During the visit, the delegation was presented with the activities of enterprises, their technological capabilities, production capacity, state support measures and export potential. The Kyrgyz side got acquainted with the advanced experience of Pakistan in the field of industry, pharmaceuticals and scientific and technical developments.
In addition, meetings were held with the heads of business associations, as a result of which initial agreements were reached on the development of cooperation in the fields of industry, pharmaceutical production, scientific and technical exchange and promotion of mutual investments, and business contacts were established.
Kyrgyzstan expressed its interest in expanding cooperation with Pakistan at the level of the private sector, industry associations and development institutions. This visit will be an important step in strengthening trade and economic ties between the two countries and creating new opportunities for the implementation of joint projects in the industrial and high-tech sectors, the report said.
President Sadyr Zhaparov is in Pakistan on December 3-4 at the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif.
