PPP portfolio includes over 90 projects in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 23, 2025. /Kabar/. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Daniyar Amangeldiev participated in IV International Conference on Public-Private Partnerships in Kyrgyzstan. In his speech, the First Deputy Chairman noted that the updated laws on Investments and on Public-Private Partnerships entered into force in 2025, ensuring transparent mechanisms for interaction between the state and business, equal guarantees for investors, and long-term conditions for sustainable investment.

PPP Center's portfolio includes more than 90 projects worth over 434 billion soms. Over the past year, more than 10 agreements have been signed, attracting investments totaling over $3 billion, said Amangeldiev, listing several major projects being implemented through PPPs.

He added that domestic financial institutions would join the PPP program in 2025 and called on regional leaders more actively initiate PPP projects.

Concluding his speech, the First Deputy Chairman noted that the Kyrgyz Republic is open to cooperation. I am confident that the partnership between the government, business, and international institutions will become the engine of the country's sustainable development, he concluded.
