Bishkek, Dec. 9, 2025 /Kabar/. The Batken region Kyrgyzstan has unveiled 10 new products created using Japanese technologies as part of the national economic initiative “One Village — One Product.”

According to the regional administration, the items were presented during a meeting of the brand committee, where they successfully passed the competitive selection process.

The newly introduced products include:

  • beet nectar,
  • apricot blossom tea,
  • dried apricots with kernels,
  • raspberry concentrate,
  • apple nectar,
  • walnuts mixed with dried fruits,
  • rosehip powder,
  • apricot seed scrub,
  • apricot marmalade,
  • and apricots with honey.

All proposed items were approved and recognized by the brand committee.

The One Village — One Product project has been operating in the Batken region since 2018. During this period, 45 types of products have been developed, of which 29 have received national brand status and official certification. Branded products are now available across the country, and some—such as “Nukura” candies and dried apricots produced by the “Alysh-Dan” cooperative—are exported to the Russian Federation.

The Batken region was also named the winner for 2024 at the “Best National Brand” competition held in Bishkek on February 6, 2025.
