Bishkek, Dec. 8, 2025 /Kabar/. Due to the rise of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections in the country, the situation with children is being closely monitored by the Ministries of Education and Health, as well as the Department of sanitary and epidemiological surveillance.
According to the sanitary and epidemiological service's order, schools may study online without prior approval from the Ministry of Education. Schools are only required to notify the department of this decision.
It is noted that, as of today, 207 schools in the country have switched to distance learning, and 214 kindergartens have been temporarily closed for quarantine.
"Schools have strengthened preventive measures to prevent the further spread of diseases," the statement says.
