UrbanTech Hackathon: Kyrgyz youth seek solutions for creating safe and modern city

Bishkek, Dec. 2, 2025 /Kabar/. UrbanTech, youth hackathon aimed at finding innovative solutions for developing safe and modern urban environment, has launched. The organizers, the Tekaiym Public Foundation, announced this.

The hackathon will bring together students, young professionals, programmers, designers, and activists who will spend five days developing ideas and prototypes for solutions for the city of the future. The final event will be an offline pitching session in Bishkek, where participants will present their projects to experts and partners.

"UrbanTech is an opportunity for young people to influence the development of their home city today. We are creating an environment where ideas are transformed into real solutions, and students gain experience that will shape future leaders of urban transformation," the project organizers emphasized.

Participants will receive mentoring support, educational workshops, and valuable prizes from partners. Teams will explore solutions for transportation, urban infrastructure, ecology, digital security, and occupant comfort.

Registration is open to students and young professionals aged 18–25 until 5:00 PM on December 8 at techaim.asia.
